The Yankees stay hot on Fridays: 17-7 record.

Mon. 10-8
Tue. 15-8
Wed. 19-5
Thu. 11-7
Fri. 17-7
Sat. 12-12
Sun. 14-9

Pretty crazy, considering that they were pretty bad on Fridays the last couple of years. It seemed every time they played on My9 on Fridays, they would lose. Thursdays didn’t used to be very good days either. Trend was, lose Thursday to either lose the series or miss out on sweep; and then lose on Friday to be in a hole for the weekend series.

Yeah, I’ll be more than happy to take the sweep if they can pull it off. But I wouldn’t be too upset if they did it Monday instead.

Football (Dolphins and Michigan) has taken precedence over meaningless September Yankee games the last few weeks.
