Family Feud in Minny

While the Yankees were relaxing and enjoying their final off day of the season, the Twins and Tigers were locked in a race for the AL Central that got a little weird this afternoon when Minnesota’s Delmon Young was hit by a pitch from Jeremy Bonderman and reacted by pointing angrily at … his own dugout.

Seems Twins reliever Jose Mijares escalated the beanball stuff with an unexplainable heater in between Adam Everett’s shoulder blades earlier in the game. When Bonderman responded, Young – and everyone else on both teams, it seems – understood, and Young decided to direct his anger at his own teammate instead.

Strange. There’s video of the incident here, if you want to check it out.
