The first comment in this section is the most important (from Mark Feinsand). Can we finally STOP lumping post-season home runs together? It is misleading, and disrespects guys like Mickey Mantle.

One can only imagine how many "post-season" home runs The Mick would have had if there had been two additional playoff rounds before the World Series in Mantle's day.

Feinsand is right. Mantle's 230 at-bats all came in the World Series, and he hit 18 WORLD SERIES home runs. That is the record. That remains the record. Let's stop putting all post-season home runs together and break them down into playoff home runs vs. World Series home runs, and let Mantle's greatness speak for itself once again.

Nick, I watched the first season of Lost when it first aired, but was never able to make the full commitment. I'm waiting until every episode is released on DVD, before I lock myself in the house for 1 week.

I guarantee by the 3rd season that I'll have morphed into a cross between Locke and Sawyer.

I'm planning similar marathon-watching-events with True Blood...and oddly enough...Prison Break??? Dont ask.

"pete got 1 comment on his post over at boston.com. why would he leave this. must be more pay?"

I thought you were kidding about the one comment until I went over there and checked. Is that THE blog that Pete is doing? Is it completely new? If that's all the comments they're getting, the traffic must be pretty low.
