Metro North adds extra trains for ALDS
Good news for fans living in the Northern suburbs. Metro North has added more trains for postseason games. Beats paying $50 for parking.

$50 to park? Please tell me that is an exaggeration.
To anyone going to the game, you can prepay your parking online and pick the lot you want to park in.
It cost $35 and they send you a print out with a bar code that they will scan in the parking lot.
You’re guaranteed a spot up until 30 mins before first pitch. I’ve used it before all season.

You can also link to it through the Yankee Stadium home page.
Metro North or the #4/B/D (take note, Chad); always the best way to get to the ballpark. Also, you can drink on the Metro North trains, an added bonus.
Taking Metro North is totally painless and convenient. They do a good job at making sure the trains leave at a decent pace once the game ends. It’s way better than having to go all the way to Grand Central and then backtrack on the subway.
The reserved parking isn’t bad. The prices are a little steep, though, but it works.
I’m going to the game with the wife, will get there in time for the pre-game intros, ceremony, etc. Hope to hear Ronan Tynan, as well as Enter Sandman, and Sinatra singing “New York, New York” to top it off.
Who has a the better playoffs from 2 players that are trying to get the monkey off their backs? C.C. or Alex?
Of course, us stinky New Jerseyites get stiffed gettin’ extra trains. Ppbbbtttt!!!!
I’d rather drive, and leave when I want for 20 bucks than pay 40+ for a train ticket and have to hope I make it by last train.
only $24.22 from Poughkeepsie to the stadium and back. i may have to go for that this year….
That is good news for Yankees fans. Although as a city resident I’ve never driven to a Yankees game except once where I went with a friend and he drove.
Get there early and BE LOUD people. It’s playoff team, let’s support this team all the way to #27.
