You're welcome Betsy. I suppose one of the reasons for keeping Marte on the roster is that most of the Angels switch hitters hit better from the left side. If it wasn't for the bad weather/wet grounds, I'd prefer that NYY added Bruney and kept Marte (I'd think they will if they get to the WS). I'd prefer they had Pena over Hairston, too, because of the hand/wrist injury but, it's not my choice.

GB, thanks!

My ? still is what to do about game 4. The Angels have us beat every which way on that. If there are long delays in any of these first two games, we're going to have to use our pen a lot (yes, so will the Angels).....including Aceves (how long can he go at this point) and Gaudin (our potential game 4 starter).

I really, really, really hate the notion of destiny and I think it's phooey, but this plays into the Angels hands big time.

Given the weather, I also don't understand Marte instead of Bruney. Joe uses him for at most 2 or 3 batters at a time. We need another pitcher who can give us innings. I don't like or trust Bruney anymore, but at least if we need him, he can go 2 - like in the Sox 15 inning game

Damon has the chance to do something that the Babe also did.

Jones,

As far as I know, every player who made it to the Bronx this season gets a ring.

Angel Berroa - ring
Anthony Claggett - ring
Ian Kennedy -ring
Austin Jackson - no ring

I have a question, Sorry if this comes across as a stupid question.

The players that didn't make the roster, do they still get a ring if the team wins?

Example; guys like Pena & Bruney, Mitre?

I know in football they do, but I'm not sure about baseball.

Just curious, thats all.
