Actually, Girardi went out to talk to Andy DURING the Vladdy at-bat - wrong move - he had a veteran pitcher out there with a veteran catcher what could he POSSIBLY say - he disrupted the flow there....not to mention the million times he had Andy throwing to first the entire game - ridiculous - CONCENTRATE ON THE BATTER....Joe made several horrible moves and the offense has just been HORRIBLE....these guys need to get the bats going or it won't matter WHO is on the hill......

I thought our bullpen was supposed to be better than the Angels bullpen, that is all I heard about for weeks....but that hasn't been the case. I get nervous now when Hughs, Joba, Coke and Aceves comes in. I used to be confident. I really hope we win tonight!

It`s called overmanaging. And not playing Gardner is foolish. His speed is game changing and he can`t hit any worse than Cano, Swisher, Melky or Tex. He should be in against right handed pitching. Had he been in game 2 as late defence as Joe has often done this year an Angels run would never have scored on a hit to left. The Yanks decide to carry 2 speed guys and Joe uses niether. Might as well have left hinske`s bat on the bench.

"And David Robertson is a stud he will be the 8th inning guy next year with Chamberlain and Hughes in the rotation."

That's what I was thinking.

Anyways next year is a long ways off, petite will retire after winning 1 more world series, among other things...

For now, Joba needs to be the long man. He hasn't been used for a full inning in any of these games. Hughes and Robertson can do 1 inning next few games. Mo can do an inning also. Marte and Coke are good for LH, they are doing pretty satisfactory. We're covered for a 9 inning game, if it goes into extras, aceves is going to have to be the man, cause it may be too late to get gaudin going.
