  3. Levi October 25th, 2009 at 1:50 pm

11:36 – Joe G. uses 3 different pitchers in the 8th inning, unsatisfied with all 3 results.

  4. Pauly O October 25th, 2009 at 1:50 pm

Gotta give time for Jeter to work a 12 pitch at bat first.

  5. Ramey October 25th, 2009 at 1:51 pm

How would Jeter work a 12 pitch at bat when we know he’ll swing at the first pitch and have a base hit to center?

  6. indy42 October 25th, 2009 at 1:52 pm

I have a feeling this game will be a blow-out.

I’m in NYC for a couple of days near Gramercy Park (3rd Ave) and want to watch tonight’s game at a bar with Yankee fans – any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

My prediction – the Yanks will chase Saunders early and hold on to win.

  16. Vader October 25th, 2009 at 2:06 pm

Erin…baseball is funny that way, where it always finds the guy having the tough go of it, ending up in the big spot.

No, Erin. You are not the only one who feels that way.

GF, I hope your recovery is speedy, and by time you are fully recovered, the Yankees are 2009 World Champions. I have waited too long to echo Yankees and World Champions together.

Let’s finish off the Angels tonight, guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. Arno October 25th, 2009 at 2:10 pm

I hate the waiting… So many friggin off-days!

  20. Vader October 25th, 2009 at 2:11 pm

Greg, I don’t think you can go wrong picking any bar, but if you’re up for the task, take the 4 or the D train up to the Stadium and go to Stan’s. Be sure to get there a few hours before game time, that atmosphere is crazy.

No it’s Bernie. Fans were just saying they would like Boone to do it.
