Here’s a better bet between the blowhards Schumer & Specter. The loser has to shut up for a whole year, except on the ‘hallowed’ floor of the Senate. No mugging for the cameras on the steps of Capitol Hill, no TV appearances. A win-win for the whole country.

GB7- I think Bay is a Boras client.

Abreu will probably want to sign for Raul Ibanez money, wasn’t it 3 years 30M?

Some players really dimished their chances at signing big FA contracts,the leader being Chone Figgins.

However, John Lackey would be a nice pickup.

Little surprised that A-Rod wasn’t a co-MVP with CC, considering that Matsui and Posada, when batting behind him in the Angel series did very little.

I can’t imagine Boston paying Drew to play someplace else, unless they plan on letting Bay walk.

That rumor is based on them letting Bay walk and thinking they can sign Abreu for the money the Angels did.

It dosen’t seem like it is to realistic seeing he turned 2yr 16 from the Angels.

That doesn’t even take into account his fear of walls. He’d be like a short fielder in softball.

Tim McCarver played his last 6 years for Philly and 3 other years earlier in his career. Guess that the biased announcing will be worse than ever.

Sam-What’s the story with Mccarver? Does he have a lifetime contract with Fox or just “tenure?”
