    Moving up? Or moving out?

  2. 46fan

Moving up???? or Moving out – I’m about 30 miles north of the stadium and it’s pouring…..someone I just talked with is about 60 miles west of the stadium and the skies are clearing now….

  3. Hensley Muellens Blast Pal

any day is great day for baseball

  4. Laura - Bring on PHI!

Weather.com says that it will just be cloudy for the rest of the evening.

  5. 46fan

Sara: great minds think alike????? lol

  6. Mike Parch

It’s starting to clear up now here in Parsiappny!

  7. Jenn

When you say ‘moving up’, do you mean letting up? Looks like it is starting to clear up and all weather signs point to a game.

Radar says rain should be gone around 5-5:30.

  9. Bill from NJ

Seems to be a window from 8-11pm to get this game in.

  10. chris

Does anyone know when Stubhub stops selling tickets to the game tonight?

  11. Uncle Ellsworth (much ado about nothing)

do the Yanks have those giant vacuums that suck up the outfield water?

  12. Josh from NC

im tired of days without baseball, they suck

  13. Jenn

  14. Sara

I can’t wait for Lidge to implode in the World Series…sorry if I’m testy…these national pundits got the blood flowing w/ the lack of respect for this Yankee team :)

  16. chris

So like 6pm? I was hoping I could get some tickets for Game 2 for around 250$ each but it doesnt seem to get much lower than $325.

  17. Robbykid

What’s the occasion? I am flattered!

  20. DB

On the bright side, 15 years ago this game would have never been played because the field would have been to soggy.

Nowadays, as long as the rain isn’t coming down on their head, play ball!

  21. JD

In Elizabeth NJ right now, it’s not raining at all & the couds are moving fast.

    starting to look good.

  22. The Ghost

Mitch Williams just called this year’s Phillies the best team he’s ever seen. Was he in a coma during 1998?

  24. Joe

So we all live in the new Seattle and don’t even know it. They better play that game tonight for my own sanity.

    The Ghost,

He also made the prediction that Philly would beat them in 5. He was interviewed on the Boomer and Carton show yesterday and he referred to Philly as “we” 17 times.

Carton called him out on it and called him a homer. funny stuff.

  33. hey kelvin says

If we have solid pitching, the Phillies will be silenced.

To me the biggest Hurdle is taming the Phillies bats and making sure Hughes/AJ Burnett are pitching fine in this series.

Our offense can work out the pitchers fine.

    Lets go Yankees!

  34. Gardner in CF

I crossed up my last 2… oops.

    No new line ups here!

  36. Laura - Bring on PHI!

I just saw another comparison where they rated Ruiz over Posada. I just find that mind boggling. Their offensive numbers aren’t even close. Posada has multiple WS rings and they think that Ruiz is better? Wow. Who have they been talking to? AJ Burnett? :P

  37. saucY

if that’s moving up, then i’m moving out…
