How can anyone be shocked that a hitter as good as Utley touched them up? Just 2 awful pitches, and both times in 2 strike points. Just inexcusable mistakes, especially on 0-2. But again, the story would not be these home runs if the Yankees offense, and brains came to play. The Matsui play was about as dumb as it goes, and come on, let's be serious here. Lee is hanging breaking balls left and right, and the Yankees are just flat out missing them. They are getting themselves out on letter high fastballs and curveballs in the dirt.
