Doe anyone have a bigger man-crush on Pedro then Tim Mc Carver?
Why did FOX hire Ozzie Guillen & not an interpreter?
The Umpire standing behind Howard makes the call on the trap play, he is only guessing but he tells Girardi it's a catch. The home plate umpire says nothing After the game they look at a replay & get it wrong again! Pathetic.
Why does FOX use that strike-zone grid if it isn't accurate?
FOX broadcasts look like amateur night in every respect, time for WCBS.

"He thought a man sitting in the front row, holding his daughter in one hand and a beer in the other was disgusting."

Yeah, but Jheri curls, throwing at batters' heads, and tossing an old man to the ground during a playoff game, on the other hand... those are all high class.

Idiot.

This is too good... I officially want Pedro in Pinstripes next year, wow... you can't write a better script for these press conferences.

Deep down he wants to be a Yankee, it is as obvious as the mid day sun.

Sam, that last bit about Pedro’s presser is pretty irresponsible. What he said was there was a guy holding his daughter in one hand and in the other a cup of beer, and the guy was saying “just awful things to me. …it was disgusting.”

He wasn’t passing judgment on the guy for drinking beer, which is basically how you made it sound. He was saying “how can you say such terrible things about a person in front of your kid, it’s a bad example.” You misrepresented the spirit and the facts of what he said.

Not cool.

Everyone knows that Martinez should be the final authority on setting an example. Thowing at batters' heads definately shows a great example to kids. If you can't get the hitters out, hit 'em in the head.

The balance of power is now swinging over to the Toronto Blue Jays. Thet have picked up superstar left handed fireballer, Sean Henn from Baltimore off of waivers.

Also, Pedro didn't call out his catcher. He said, if he had it to do over, he probably wouldn't have chosen that pitch, but he was in a groove and making pitches. Never said a word about a catcher, or anyone else calling that pitch.

Abdababdaserser

All I heard was the Yes Network clip that was played on WCBS radio.

Whether or not it was edited I don't know. It certainly didn't sound like it was. There was no reference to the catcher in that piece. I believe I accurately portrayed what I heard Pedro say and his tone.

It is apparent that you dislike Pedro and are happy to villianize him. To tell you the truth I really don't care whether or not Pedro "blamed" his catcher and whether or not that makes him an even worse person. Some fans thrive on that petty stuff and others have no interest in it.

Congratulations to Derek Jeter on winning the Roberto Clemente Award. Job well done.

I second that GB. He has had a stellar year so far but he is an all around player and can do no wrong in my eyes! :)

Not sure if it is because I have been tuning out Buck/McCarver or for that matter the whole team including Grace/Karos/Guillen but has there been any mention of Brian Cashman? Has he been MIA or is there reasons as to why he is not being shown? Any ideas?
