Without the Yankees, Major League Baseball would sadly sink into that abyss created by so called fans of other teams who neither know or have read of baseball history. We root for our home team the way they do. We have understood their disappointment at not winning. But they refuse to grow & rise above their lack of empathy. The few of them who get it, are dragged down under the weight of their adamantly ignorant fellows.

The NYY look better losing, than most of the rest of them do winning.

What a wonderful win and it was won at home. What a difference YS makes. After the Yankees scored two I knew they would win. What a team! What players! Congratulation to the Yankees – the 2009 World Series Champions.

Most of all much thanks to Mo for being the best player on the Yankee team. What a cool gentleman. Congrats to Matsui – he put on a batting show for all seasons. MVP. MVP.

It has been a memorable year. Can hardly wait for spring training!
