With the economy and lack of the Tigers doing very well after that monster trade that was supposed to make them invincible, I tend to think that they are going to look to sell off what they can for cheaper talents. If the Yankees re-sign Damon, get Granderson, I could see Melky and Swisher and Damon doing some platoon work. Jackson, Laird, Zumaya & Verlander are also due raises in arbitration. If they kept all 4, they would have to add 20M to their payroll.
