Blue Jays have to be the most inept org.Last year they lost AJ
and got nothing. You'd think they would have learned something.

Halladay is a top of the order ace,and if they let him walk being greedy/stupid they deserve to be laughed at by all of baseball.

Bad MLB mgrs is why some of these teams will always be bottom feeders, and dependent on Corporate welfare subsidies!

From MLB-Rumors-R-Us.....something to gnaw on besides a turkey leg.

The Price Tag For Roy Halladay
By Ben Nicholson-Smith [November 26 at 10:55am CST]
ESPN.com's Buster Olney says the Red Sox would "almost certainly" have to part with prospect Casey Kelly and pitcher Clay Buchholz to acquire Roy Halladay from the Blue Jays. That would be an immense price to pay for a year of Halladay, and Olney says it "makes no sense" for the Red Sox to hand over that kind of talent, especially since it will take a considerable amount to lock Halladay up long-term.

One executive called the Halladay trade talks "Santana 2," in reference to the Johan Santana trade talks two offseasons ago. The Yankees and Red Sox held onto their prospects then, and their decisions look wise today.

But don't expect the Blue Jays to lower the asking price for their ace. One person who was involved in last summer's trade talks tells Olney that the Jays will continue to ask for top prospects, even if it means they don't make a deal.

"It'll probably be easier for them, as an organization, to just keep him and let him walk," the talent evaluator said.

If they do trade Halladay, they'll likely ask for shortstop prospects, according to MLB.com's Jordan Bastian. It doesn't sound like the Jays are close to dealing Doc and Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports expects trade talks to develop slowly.

I agree with the Mariano on the mound with 3 outs to win the series. Could you imagine rooting for a team with Jose Mesa or the like on the mound. I would take my chances with Mo.

~!If sawx sign Scutaro,he's a type A,they will have to give up
prospects too.
A Gonzalez signed for 1 year ,plus a club option, and 2.75mm,much cheaper than what the sawx was thinking.

~sawx fans upset Scutaro will cost 3/6mm per yr.

I'm thankful for...

My new wife and our first holiday as a couple...

My friends and family...

#27...

Being at games for the last year of the old stadium and the first year of the new one...

For luckly picking the one city in Indiana to live that is home of Donnie Baseball...

That my bar here had a great satellite package so I didn't miss too much...

That I am leaving Indiana and going home to NJ soon...

That I saw Roger Clemmons, heard Mr. Shepperd, and finally saw (and heard) Mo's entrance live...

That I got to meet, know, and drink with the Bleacher Creatures at Ballpark Lanes...

Oh...and the six of Heineken I got in the fridge.

Happy Thanksgiving all!!
