Betsy, I’m not sure if anyone told you the Midnight Run plotline. DeNiro is a bounty hunter taking Grodin back to the authorities to testify against the mob and the mob is trying to stop his return and get back the money Grodin stole from them. The best part of the movie is the relationship between DeNiro as his usual tough self and Grodin with his dry, dry persona.

I’m trying to think of other Charles Grodin movies I’ve seen, but I can’t think of any. What is Midnight Run about ? Is it a comedy? I don’t like the premise of the original Heartbreak Kid, so I wouldn’t see that – the character sounds like a jerk.

GLove, it’s hard because I become attached to characters. I loved Charlie and Claire – they dropped EmilieI De Raven like a hot potato, basically. I’m sad that I had to drop Lost because until I became disillusionedm, I adored it. The pilot was phenomenal – one of the best tv shows I’ve ever seen (episodes, that is). Maybe only the finale of the Fugitive topped it. I may consider buying the DVDs if the last season sounds ok…………One actor I just love from that show is Terry o’Quinn – he’s brilliant (before that he was known for being the original Stepfather, lol). I also thought Michael Emerson was brilliant………..
