I hope everyone appreciates what we are watching with Jeter. It is hard to have perspective in the moment. But I don’t think it is an overstatement to say that when we watch Jeter, we are watching Ruth, we are watching Gehrig, we are watching DiMaggio. I’m only 32. I can’t imagine what it was like to watch those legends. But someday, my 32 year old son will wonder what it was like to watch Jeter, as I am today. I consider myself very lucky to be able to watch this incredible person play the game.

best thing about Jeter is that he can drive an obstacle course and not hit a single hydrant.

They(haters) choose to ignore him as a great short stop,or a league MVP,but Jeter has his 5 rings,his sterling leadership of the NY Yankees,his good works foundation(turn2)and finally recognition for what he has accomplished.
