GB7 I saw that story about the SEALS. That’s a disgrace to our men and women in uniform, particulary our special operators whom we rely on so much and do more with less.

PC is an apt description.

Off topic, but have you seen the story with the SEALS being court-martialed? That, together with the murder trial for the SF guys a couple of years ago, just blows my mind. The military is so PC now, they can’t do their job properly. It was starting a bit by the time I got out in ‘98, but I don’t know if I would enlist now for anything. The military is still fine, but the leadership is disgraceful.

SoS, like I said, Piazza was a good glove catcher and he knew the hitters. He just had a weak arm. God….that bat, though. I’d hate to label Montero as that, but, there’s a sound off his bat like few that I’ve heard and that’s from a 19-20 year old. On defense, he’s actually pretty decent and has a strong arm. Not Ivan Rodriguez strong, but, Posada type strong from about 4 years ago.

lol gb7. I think the MOST important thing to ask Montero is if he would get along and impress Burnett. Everything else is doable.

I wouldnt mind having another catcher with an excellent bat and an average arm behind home plate. We havnt done to shaby the last 13 years with who we have.
