I just finally disconnected from India and seem to be on the computer home stretch. Just thought I’d report in.

You know, I’m thinking that maybe it is worth it to listen to a bunch of screaming kids in a smelly auditorium. I am not a basketball fan, and there is no way I could have gone anywhere tonight except in front of my computer. But I think I would have liked to watch Georgetown and Ohio, just because it’s Georgetown and Ohio!

So I have decided that I am going to go to the games on Saturday. And if it interferes with our game on Saturday, that’s what my DVR is for!

GO YANKEES!!!

seriously.

Winn was low risk with potentially very good reward. There are far worse options for the 4th/5th OF spot.

The low risk part helps in the event that he doesn’t perform well 2-3 months into the season and Curtis or someone else can take his place.

For now, he deserves the benefit of the doubt. He’s been in the league for a long time with a solid record.

Doreen, I didn’t mean it to come out that way – I’m sorry. I didn’t have to put it quite like that. I hope Curtis does well and it’s obvious that he worked hard, which I admire. I just feel like it’s unfair to trash (not that you are) any player for having a bad spring when it’s a small sample size AND it doesn’t even count. One bad year doesn’t mean another bad year will follow…..and I think Winn deserves a real shot.

I’d love to be 8-4. I’m 5-7. In fact, all of us in my house are 5-7 and we picked some different teams. Weird. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.
