Big Yankee and Obama fan here. I think I'll have to get a poster made up of this picture, it is a great day to be a Yankee fan. Now the book is officially closed on an outstanding season. Thank you Mr. President.

BTW, Ann Margret was such a good singer that she was invited to perform for President Kennedy at his birthday party.

Pat, a lot of people always wrote her off as just another body, but she could sing, dance act, and had no problems making fun of how people thought of her. I have about 50-60 of her songs on the computer. some are ok, some are good and some are great. List to "Last Date" (with Floyd Cramer on piano) or "What Am I supposed To Do". Not a great range or volumn, but, a Shelley Fabres or Claudine Longet-type of voice. She had guys...old crusty first sergeants that were WWII vets crying at the firebases.

@Doreen: the preferred phrase is 'barely legal' not 'almost illegal'.

Accentuate the positive!

And all bets are (almost) off when we're talking about the silver screen. Sort of.

Anyway, here is the video. Maybe better muted?
