While we’re waiting for a lineup and an update on Jorge Posada, go to the YES Network website and kill a few minutes watching highlights of this spring’s paintball outing with the Yankees media and coaching staff.
There are a few a good shots of Bryan Hoch running and sliding for cover, but there’s also video evidence of Hoch being shot in the leg, ignoring it and getting popped in the chest.
About a minute and 20 seconds in, there’s footage of my disputed win in the third game, when I ran to the base but was shot about a half dozen times in the chest by Kevin Long.
We all had a great time that morning, and the beat has been very eagerly waiting for the video to get online.
My dentist let me keep their copy of SI, so I didn’t even have to go buy one, lol. It’s a fantastic interview; these guys have a ton of chemistry.
I saw the video – that was a lot of fun, especially with Cash being stealth and Jason Zillo claiming he was hiding. GB would love that clip – it looked like they were all at war with each other, lol.
Let’s keep the organization from fooling around and playing real baseball against the pathetic teams in the AL like the Orioles. Tonight is a must win.

Well, I hope they win.
It would be a shame if they don’t since it would mean the season would be over and the next 141 games to be played would be for nothing.
I can’t find it anywhere. Someone told me they sell it up the street for me in NYC but I don’t have time to walk all the way up there.

Yes there has. In the bizarro world of the LoHud Yankees Blog, EVERY game is a must win game EVERY year.
This game is no different.
The only “must” about the game tonight is that A.J. needs to hit an o’s player.
Retaliation needs to happen because Guthrie has beaned more than enough Yankee players in his career.
Blake, I spent the whole time telling jokes involving dentistry – it was hilarious. Unfortunately, I may need a root canal on this tooth and the bill will NOT be hilarious.
If they don’t win this game, I will go on suicide watch.
So should AJ retalitate tonight? Kay is saying that if he does and the O’s think Guthrie did nothing wrong, then the O’s will retaliate back against the Yankees and it’s worse for the Yankees because they are the better team and an injury would hurt them more than it would the Orioles.
Guthrie’s a fabulous pitcher according to LaGreca; I must have misheard that. If not, then I guess anyone that throws 95 is fabulouos.
If the Yankees don’t win tonight I’m going to hold my breathe until I pass out.
betsy-its about time we protect our players. posada(a member of the core 4) should be protected. plus, guthrie drilled Tex in spring training this year.
last night guthrie drills Posada in the back of the knee. why? because she smoked a HR off millwood the night before.

I think we won’t see a player hit. The teams will probably be warned. Waiting until another series would be best, I think.
Guthrie hit 2 NYY in ST. I know he was supposedly working on pitching inside but then last night he hits another one. Half of the batters he has hit are NYY. Cabrera always hit NYY, especially Jeter. It just seems like a little too much from the Os to be a coincidence. I would drill Weiters (catcher for catcher) in the hip.
We protected our players last year; this is not Joe Torre’s Yankees (fortunately) in that regard. However, the O’s are punks and would have no problem hurting any of our players.

The other day a client told me that one of his service providers would send me a piece of info I have been begging for weeks for by 3pm.
I told him at 2:59 I would hold my breath and if I didn’t have it, my death would be on him.
It arrived at 4:02. Thank goodness I didn’t hold my breat
That paintball match was probably the one occasion where many in here actually miss having Pete Abe running things.
I’m also somewhat relieved they edited out Chad’s nipples.
Remember last season around the all-star break when David Wright said he wouldn’t shave until the Mets were back at .500??
He gave up on that dream quick
We have to send a message so our players stop getting hit.
