Still no lineup posted in the Yankees clubhouse. For now, two links from today’s newspaper.

Alfredo Aceves will go on the disabled list today as the latest in a string of injuries that have hit the Yankees roster. The Yankees were optimistic that Aceves would return to the bullpen yesterday, but his back bothered him during a throwing session and he’ll got to New York for tests.

The Yankees will play two games today, with Javier Vazquez returning to the rotation for the opener of the doubleheader. The notebook also has items on Chan Ho Park and the team’s reaction to Jose Valverde’s on-field antics.

    Ledger_Yankees: Golson summoned to DETROIT…

    Interesting. Not Miranda.

Wonder if he gets called up between games.

Wonder why Golson’s being summoned? Some concerns about one of the big league OF’s?

Golson’s getting the call because they can use the DL move of Aceves to their advantage. Golson needs to be on the Team as the 4th OF with Thames struggles out there. I fully expect Miranda to be called up shortly for Russo, maybe even as early as Game 2.

    Golson summoned to DETROIT…
This could really make GTLU difficult for Game 2 ;)

I expected a roster move today, but I thought they would bring a pitcher up for today. After all it is a Double Heager and no idea how long Vazquez will go.

    Obviously I meant Double Header.

They will probably have a pitcher up waiting in case they need to add him in the second game.

Glad you liked it. Figured I’d add some levity to the situation.

I find the older I get the mite accepting I am of other peoples ideas.

Life’s too short to be angry all the time.

Ray, I try to have a sense of humor about myself (hey, if I can dish it out, I have to take it) ……….the scary thing is that that painting pretty much does capture my mentality, lol
