Chad Moeller is not listed on the bench. Looks like he’s the move for Colin Curtis.

Thankfully AJ pitches a lot better than he hits. Sometimes. :) :)

If Posada has complained that he feels pain in his foot after a full game, why get rid of Moeller?

    (repost):

There’s no reason to move Brackman or Betances up quickly this year, Betances in particular.

When guys have great stuff like that but are raw and inexperienced the most important thing is for them to do is just get innings. It’s secondary where those innings are thrown in terms of competition.

If either one of those guys is commanding their stuff and has their mechanics no one is going to hit it whether it’s A ball or AAA.

If both of them continue to progress they could have a very short stints at AAA then up to the majors. Going to AA this season isn’t particularly going to get either to the majors faster. They could easily spend the whole year in A ball and then go to AA and AAA next year. At the same time faster shouldn’t necessarily be the goal.

All both of them should do this season is throw the ball with good mechanics. It’s repetition they need more than refinement.

We’ve got the super heavy jumbo hitting package in tonite.

Rodrigo, it’s still not too late to scratch yourself from tonite’s game. :)

I think I have Granderson batting in the 2 slot. I can’t get this GTLU thing right.

I hope that by the end of the season, that loser traitor is sitting home and watching those Yanks win a world series

    CB,

I’d like to see Brackman hit AA this year. I have been hearing rumors for the last week that his promotion is coming soon.

I agree CB however I do think the yanks may want Brackman, if he continues to throw this well with this kind of control, to see tougher hitters as early as this season….

Besides Banuelos will need a spot in a couple of weeks so a Brackman promotion would make sense if he’s throwing well( not a great start by him last night though…)

    If both Brackman and Bettances stay the whole season in Tampa then imagine how unfair it will be for the FSL the second half of the season facing;

    Brackman
    Betttances
    Banuelos
    Stoneburner
    Warren

    talk about stacked!

Props to Chad Moeller. He’s been a good soldier in times of need over the past 2 seasons. Hopefully he clears waivers and stays in the system at AAA.

Sherman said he was told he will be promoted by the AS break.

I hope they didn’t have him fly to AZ before telling him he was DFA.
