Two days ago, I completely forgot to post about Phil Hughes birthday. To be fair, though, I don’t think he remembered my birthday back in December.

This morning, though, it’s hard to overlook Derek Jeter, who turns 36 today.

“I’m not going to look at him as 36,” Joe Girardi said. “I’m going to look at him as still a kid because we expect him to play almost every day. It’s hard to believe he’s 36 years old. I look at Andy and he’s 38 and Mo’s 40 and I think Posada’s 38, it blows me away because when I first saw them they were just kids. They were babies in the baseball world. Now they’re like I felt when I was playing.”
