Brett Gardner’s fourth home run of the season was a third-inning grand slam, part of an 11-run inning that sent the Yankees to a bounce-back 11-3 win against the Blue Jays. The Yankees had stranded the bases loaded in the third inning yesterday, but this time they turned the third into their biggest inning since 2005. Andy Pettitte got the win, his 10th of the season. On the day before the all-star teams are announced, Pettitte is 10-2 with a 2.82 ERA.
