    I like the matchups this weekend. Happy that the Tiggers got Price earlier this week even though he was hammered by the Yankees last time out.

    It sure is looking less and less likely the Yankees do anything before the deadline. I recall many saying over the winter “they can always get what they need at the trade deadline”. It is just not easy anymore with people asking for Montero for a mid-level reliever.

    I think they will regret not having a capable DH during the playoffs with Posada asked to do the catching. Hughes will likely return to the pen with only three starters needed. Hopefully he can return to be effective in that role.
