Hopefully it’s just a day off for Arod and nothing more
He looked fine yesterday and he said that he felt good. I’ve got my fingers crossed.
Tomorrow’s a day game, figure maybe they are trying to avoid night game/day game back-to-back this soon after coming off the DL?
My guess is that they’re just slowly working him back into everyday play. I’m willing to wager he’s available to pinch hit.

I wish he were at least DHing.
Not point in pushing the envelope with Alex. It’s a good lineup and the stopper is on the mound looking for No. 20.
Honestly I’d much rather see Eduardo in there than Pena.
Maybe he decided to become a ball bay while at the US Open last night (ala Kramer) and pulled a hammy running after loose tennis balls.
Or maybe girardi wanted to test the theory that the yankees have learned how to win without Arod in the lineup.
Speaking of tomorrow being another day game, when did the Yankees become the Chicage Cubs and Yankee Stadium become Wrigley Field prior to installing lights for night games. I can’t remember the last time they played a night game at Yankee Stadium.

Tomorrow’s Day game will make 6 day games in 7 games….

(Side note: Thanks to day game-mania, I am now fully caught up on my DVR activities. I even watched a movie on HBO Friday)

I doubt thats the reason. Probably because its a getaway day for Baltimore and Thursday is a day off.
I definitely remember Yankee games being played during Jewish Holidays before. Suzy Waldman always takes off for them
