Yankees fall to the brink of elimination

At the exact mid-point of this game, the Yankees were in good shape. A.J. Burnett had not been hit hard and the Yankees had a one-run lead, but it’s amazing how quickly that changed. In the end, the Yankees were on the verge of elimination after a 10-3 loss in Game 4 of the American League Championship Series. Every game is now a must-win, with the Yankees needing to sweep three straight to stay alive.
