There were reports this morning of momentary productivity increases in several companies around the country–but the anomaly seems to have corrected itself within the past hour.
No lineup as good as this in baseball. Look across the diamond at the Tigers lineup to get an idea of how screwed the rest of baseball is.

I knew it was real when I went onto the MLB site and saw Opening Day Is Here! and I started to cry.
Since the site was down all morning I will give everyone until the end of the day to get their picks in for the prediction site. I don’t think one game is going to sway people one way or the other, though you never know!
I am feeling extremely emotional right now. So I’d like to start our season off this way.
Everybody I love you. Everybody I do.
I’m sure that will change day to day!

Would rather flip grandy and martin have in grandy in the 9 hole gives us two lead off hitters and a guy at 9 that can go yard with a few guys on.
We’ve got to get off to a fast start this season, with only 29 home games after the ASB.

Pro tip if you are going to really see a live game, bring a few collated spreadsheets and poke a pin hole in the center and watch the game through the hole. Stops you from being blinded by live baseball.

i’m down in miami and i get put in with a foursome that has a die hard red sox fan in it from new hampshire. when the guy hears i’m from cape cod he starts talking red sox smack because he assumes i’m a red sox fan. i politely tell him i’m a yankee fan, and tell him he’s pretty confident for a fan of non playoff team. we’re polite because it’s golf and we’re stuck with each other for the round.
he starts talking gonzalez and crawford and while thinking of retort, i top my tee shot and hit a grounder for about 50 yards that would make jeter proud. he’s smiling and tells me to hit another one. i said why, i’m going to par it anyway( it was a par 5).
i hit two two irons and i’m on the front of the large green in three . the flag is way in the back( maybe a 45 foot putt, maybe more). the red sox guy is holding the flag and i just want to lag close and get my par because i know it will piss him off.
i let it go and it rolls and rolls and is looking good and then hits dead center and disappears in the bottom of the cup at the guys feet. birdie.
he and i both knew : yankees one, red sox nothing .
the season started for me with that guy trash talking on the first tee . game on.
