Can’t believe we’re mourning the loss of Colon. That’s how low expectations were in the spring, and how freaking awesome he’s been.
I see the plan of putting Noesi in the pen. If you’re going to do it, use him in higher leverage situations at least.
Any word on what’s the deal with Brackman?
Colon was their #2. So he will be missed. But it’s only for like a month, so it’s overcomeable.
I second GB’s motion to put Brackman in pen, and then bring him up for late inning work (6th inning?)
He has shown improvement before when put there…and it would not stop him from going back next year to SWB to continue efforts to start.
BTW–I do think Logan is going to step up here and improve…will play a big role if he gets back to what he was last year.
