Bartolo Colon was just as the Yankees remembered him. Making his first start since June 11, Colon pitched six scoreless innings in a 5-2 Yankees win at Citi Field. Colon walked none, struck out six and got out of his only real jam with a double play in the fifth. It was his sixth win of the season and lowered his ERA to 2.88. The Yankees struggled with Mets starter Dillon Gee until the sixth, when Curtis Granderson homered to start a string of four straight hits. The Yankees scored four runs in the inning and have now won seven in a row. Eduardo Nunez homered and is now 7-for-8 in the Subway Series.
