   NotHankStein Thinking of getting Mariano Rivera a watch to commemorate his achievement. Thinking Timex, Seiko or a nice Casio. Hank’s got class folks.

   I think AJ won’t be traded because he is nearly untradeable. Despite his good start last night he has a 5.26 ERA last year and 5.20 this year. That’s replacement level, meaning you take players off the scrap pile or from the minors to do that. The Yankees would have to eat so much of his due salary it would not be worth it. There is not a “clubhouse cancer” motivator. Getting someone to take a significant part of his contract would be a win even greater than the Vernon Wells trade.
