Disclaimer: If someone posts in the chat as “Chad’s Girls” it is neither Shame Spencer or myself.

    ;)

Thats right, Erin, you tell ‘em! Maybe it was trisha or yankeesfem? Not a whole lot of ladies to choose from, though I bet Chad has quite a few girls…

  3. yankeefeminista September 23rd, 2011 at 12:01 pm

Shame, bite your tongue. I would never post under that handle. :)

  4. yankeefeminista September 23rd, 2011 at 12:02 pm

Delete the smile. Keep the

    Per RLYW:

“Here are how the odds of winning the wild card change based on the various possible outcomes of this weekend’s series between Boston and the Yankees.

    Yankees Sweep WC%
    Red Sox 48.2%
    Rays 44.6%
    Angels 7.2%
    Rangers 0.1%

    Yankees 2-1 WC%
    Red Sox 75.8%
    Rays 21.6%
    Angels 2.5%
    Rangers 0.1%

    Red Sox 2-1 WC%
    Red Sox 91.2%
    Rays 8.0%
    Angels 0.7%

    Red Sox Sweep WC%
    Red Sox 98.8%
    Rays 1.2%”

I wish we would play these next three games like they are playoff games, but I don’t think it’s going to happen.

Shame, certainly not I!!!!! Not that I don’t think he’s a cutie from his picture.

  8. trisha - true pinstriped blue September 23rd, 2011 at 12:10 pm

YF, I hear you. It’s been quite a while since I’ve referred to myself or any other female over the age of say 14 as a girl…

  9. LGY September 23rd, 2011 at 12:10 pm

If you’re feeling less adventurous and want to stick with the salmon idea these are good and easy on the side to add the Dominican aspect

I’m very very very very very very very very very very sad that I am going to miss tonight’s game – or most of it anyway.

    I will DVR it.

Akin to the way MTU described it, this is a dream, the thought of the Yankees possibly sweeping the Sux out of contention, you know the Sux, the best team ever assembled. EVER ASSEMBLED.

You want to look at unmitigated hubris, take a look at that description.

A totally uncertain rotation, but the best team ever assembled.

What a bunch of sycophantish asswipes.

    Anyway, GO YANKS!

Guess I’ll get some work done around here.

    Later y’all.

    :)

    Hello Trisha!

It is good to be a Yankee Fan!!! LOL!

  12. trisha - true pinstriped blue September 23rd, 2011 at 12:30 pm

Hey Ray!!!! It’s GREAT to be a Yankee fan! Sorry I haven’t been in touch but it’s because I’ve been out of touch! I am up to my eyeballs in cases, mainly pro bono but some others in there also, so it’s been total craziness for me. That’s actually what I’m going to turn back to right now.

Hopefully I clear up a lot of it in time for the postseason.

    :)

  13. trisha - true pinstriped blue September 23rd, 2011 at 12:33 pm

I checked in on Chad’s chat and it seems he isn’t ascribing to the extra rest theory with the pitchers. He described the rotation as limping down the stretch – though I would hardly call CC’s game from the other night or Nova’s as limping down the stretch.

Funny but if you look at the stats and see when CC’s games started to get tested, they were all with 6 days in between starts. When he had 5 he was rolling along.

The same has happened to some of our other starters too.

I know Joe said he was worried about velocity with Colon. We’ll have to wait to see what develops.

  14. Shame Spencer September 23rd, 2011 at 12:39 pm

Thanks JM for the recipe in the previous thread!

Trisha + yanksfem – I was just playin with ya, I actually think Chad’s Girl might be Jerkface :D

  15. trisha - true pinstriped blue September 23rd, 2011 at 12:46 pm

    Shame – that’s funny!

  16. Jerkface September 23rd, 2011 at 12:48 pm

    Shame,

I was going to post ‘I am Chad’s Girls.’ Beat me to it.

  17. LGY September 23rd, 2011 at 12:49 pm

@bkabak: Peter Gammons just replied to himself on Twitter.

  18. Betsy September 23rd, 2011 at 12:54 pm

Nova is very good , but now he is unbeatable? No pitcher is that, but if I were to lable a pitcher that, it would be a Halladay. I think Nova will be just fine in the post season, though.

As top the Sox, if they make it fine….if not fine. If they do, they will be dangerous. What can you do? You just play who you are set to play and hope for the best

  19. yankeefeminista September 23rd, 2011 at 12:54 pm

    Shame, I knew that. ;)

  20. RayVT September 23rd, 2011 at 12:55 pm

    Hi Trisha!
Drop me an e-mail when you find time or pick up the phone & call me! I’d love to hear from you!

fran_cervelli Thank you to all of the @Yankees fans that have shown their support. I’m feeling much better!

Gold Star for Shame for figuring it out!

  24. yankeefeminista September 23rd, 2011 at 1:02 pm

Trisha, sounds like a plan. I too am trying to get all my work done before next Friday arrives. Once that day hits, I will be useless for anything except watching, reading and posting about Yankee playoff baseball.

Hi, Comet! (if belated, from last thread) :)

I sincerely do not see how we are getting this game in tonight: http://www.weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/USNY0172

  25. Jerkface September 23rd, 2011 at 1:05 pm

I was going to post it in an ‘I am spartacus’ way. I’m not really Chad’s girl. That mystery is still afoot.

Oops. I should have known. ;)

  27. Bronx Jeers September 23rd, 2011 at 1:07 pm

Chad is a friend. You know he’s been a good friend of mine. But lately something’s changed and it’s hard to define. Chad has himself some girls and I want to make them mine.

  28. Erin September 23rd, 2011 at 1:08 pm

    Bronx Jeers-

  29. JM September 23rd, 2011 at 1:13 pm

Definitely not “Chad’s Girls” either. The mystery continues.

Seriously I know they want to play the game tonight in the rain but I’m concerned about injuries. If they do wind up playing I hope Joe rests most of the regulars even if it means the Sox win. Staying healthy at this point is more important than beating the Sox.

Even though beating the Sox and further messing with their playoff chances sure would be fun.

    RayVT —-

Your Hokies really committed to staying in the ACC?

SEC still needs a 14th and Va. Tech is the best possibility out there.

Yanks rotation isn’t great… but the bullpen is. The defense is excellent and the lineup is outstanding. Loved the article on Cashman and how Montero was offered for Lee and only Lee…. well, Toronto wanted him in a Halladay package too.

  32. Shame Spencer September 23rd, 2011 at 1:22 pm

I asked Chad where his Girls were during today’s chat… a little disappointed he skipped over that question..
