Boras: Just kidding!

Scott Boras said he was joking when he told the New York Post on Wednesday that he wanted the Yankees to re-work and extend Robinson Cano’s contract.

“Cash and I have talked three or four times in the last three days. My statements were in jest. Cash always returns my phone calls,” Boras told The Post today. “My conversations with Cash about Robinson have nothing to do with the options. We fully expect the options to be exercised.”

Scott. Hope you finally got the memo.

The Yankees aren’t gonna get rolled anymore.

You’ll just have to find a new “dumb owner”.

    ;)

Boras was ignored by Cashman, got shot down in media via front office leaks and media basically laughed in his face = Boras I was just joking

Another mixed day for the AFL Yankee players.

Corbin Joseph was 0-5 with 2 strikeouts.

Ron Segedin was 1-5 with a 3 run homer

Daniel Burawa pitched on inning and took the loss. 2 hits, 2 runs, 1 walks, 0 strikeouts

With regard to the AFL Yankees, could it be baseball overload?

Earlier today there was some talk about retaining Eric Chavez…..I think they should ink him for another season as they have no one to play 3rd like him and he’s still a veteran stick off the bench…….GB, pool service wearing Halloween attire, orange tops , black bottoms and vampish makeup…….Oh my, can’t wait until Christmas outfits……

i have given it some thought and i think the yankees shouuld sign beltran to play right. He has proven to rise to the occation in clutch situations and i feel he is a better player then swisher.
    thoughts?

    Par,

It’s all on Chavez. I’d like to see him return, but, Laird is more than capable of taking over. Chavez was a nice surprise, though.

I would imagine those were nice treats today. You are waiting for Christmas? Yeah, but you have a bunch of gifts that you can’t unwrap. Seems like a bunch of little cuties dressed like New Years babies might be enjoyable, though.

GB….Do you think Laird is ready ????
