The Rangers have three hours left to negotiate a contract with Japanese starter Yu Darvish, and it seems they’re going to get something in place.
Reports indicate that the Rangers are “close” to a deal, and that deal is expected to be for six years. We all knew going into this process that the Rangers would have to commit a lot of years and money to get a deal done, and it looks like that’s the case.
The deadline to finalize a deal is 5 p.m. ET.
