Mason Williams coming to White Plains

Now that Jesus Montero has been traded to Seattle, the consensus top position prospect in the Yankees system has to be one of two names.

If you prefer the potential of a young, raw power bat that has some Montero-like attributes, then Gary Sanchez is your guy.

If you prefer the speed and overall tools of a young athlete who has the potential to do a little of everything, then it’s Mason Williams.

And if you’d like to meet one of these guys long before big league stardom, tomorrow is your chance.

Williams is going to be at the Westchester County Center in White Plains from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, signing autographs at the Winter Extravaganza sports card show. Swing by if you’re in the area and feel like meeting a 20-year-old kid who was just named the New York-Penn League’s top prospect.
