Garcia scheduled to throw bullpen

No lineup posted just yet, but Freddy Garcia is among the pitchers scheduled to throw a bullpen this afternoon. I believe that should be his first time on a mound since the hand injury.
Andy Pettitte is here — in J.R. Murphys
old locker — but hes not listed as one of the pitchers throwing a bullpen. Joe Girardi previously said Pettitte would throw a bullpen today, but that plan might have changed (or maybe hes just not listed for whatever reason).
Chad, I’m genuinely curious… do you actually care about Pineda’s velocity right now or did you just write that because you were either told to or do you media guys really like to perpetuate your own storylines… ?
Why would the Yankees risk Garcia’s trade value on a bullpen session? What if he gets hurt? NYYs would be stuck paying him for nothing.
What trade value? lol… Obviously he should just hang out int he clubhouse and never pitch again waiting to get traded for fear of exposing him to a baseball.

The idea that Pete would troll his former blog (probably out of boredom from his own inactive one) is the most amazing thing I’ve heard today.
What would Pete’s centaur name be? Magna Pondus?

There is another option… that he reported it because he’s been getting tons of emails/questions about it.
seriously, read pete’s post from this morning, its an excellent post going through all kinds of things going on in sock’s camp and full of his own opinion and analysis. there’s no ‘company line’ there, in fact he pretty much always blows up the company line.
i dont like the red sock’s but when i want to catch up on what’s going on with them, this is exactly what i want to read to catch up and gain insight.
as i’ve always said, i didnt always agree with pete and often clashed with him, but he’s a very very good blog writer.

No, actually, it was well before he left. I think G Franco and Randy have more info on that as far as name goes.
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever gotten the urge to catch up on what’s going on with the Red Sox.
Gb- i don’t think they’re going to be in a hurry to trade Freddy, nor anyone else right now. Not until they have a better idea of what Andy is going to bring.

Joe, as I stated a few days ago. I don’t think a trade gets made before the middle or end of May. if Garcia becomes a malcontent, that may change.
im always looking at other team blogs, i have camden chat, metsblog, jays journal, nats insider and about 10 other team blogs along with ebb bookmarked and check in regularly.
gb7 – Everything you say “was a joke” when you realize it sounded dumb to begin with.
Is that your end goal now? To not “be worse” than the other posters around you?
Maybe if Chad would report something from INSIDE the clubhouse, i’d give a crap about the articles he writes. I’ve read about Pineda velocity and all the Yankees keep saying internally was that it’s not an issue at all. Chad did not “report” any findings from the clubhouse on this, he merely regurgitated the same old media crap about his diminished velocity.
It’s half-assed, and it’s killing this place.
We ALL used to come here for something that we couldn’t find on an ESPN headline, now that insight is all but gone. That’s the point I’m making. I asked the question i did above because I want to know if Chad is actually responsible for this lack of content, or if he is restricted in how he operates this blog.
It was an honest question, so back off.
