Omir Santos gave the Tigers a walkoff win tonight, hitting a game-winning sacrifice fly in the ninth inning to hand the Yankees a 4-3 loss at Comerica Park. Miguel Cabrera hit two home runs in the game, both estimated at more than 430 feet. The second was a solo shot in the eighth that gave the Tigers a lead. The Yankees tied it in the ninth when Dewayne Wise pinch ran, stole second and third, and scored on a bases-loaded walk by Mark Teixeira. The Yankees went 1-for-12 with runners in scoring position and had 12 runners left one base. Hiroki Kuroda allowed two runs through seven innings but took a no decision. Both Joe Girardi and Kevin Long were ejected.
