Homestand mercifully coming to an end

Even if the Yankees win today, this will not turn out to be a good homestand. A victory just gets them to 4-5 against Boston, Baltimore and Seattle.

They are just 5-10 over their last 15 games. But there’s no reason to sweat at this point with a good team that’s still 6 1/2 up. And at least Felix Hernandez isn’t pitching today. The Yankees were busy tipping their cap to him after yesterday’s dominating performance. You can read about it in my linked article for today’s Journal News and
