The Yankees missed another opportunity this afternoon, and now the Orioles have a chance to pull even tonight. After blowing an early two-run lead, the Yankees lost 3-2 against the Blue Jays. Their offense went quiet after a two-run first inning, and Andy Pettitte gave up his first runs since coming off the disabled list. He was still pitching with a 2-1 lead when Rajai Davis hit a two-out RBI single to tie the game in the fifth. Pettitte left with two outs and runners at the corners in the sixth, and Joba Chamberlain promptly allowed the go-ahead double. The second-place Orioles play tonight with a chance to once again move into a tie for first place in the American League East.
