The Lineup is perfect. It should stay the exact same vs a lefty with nunez replacing ibanez as the only change.

Oakland is not out of it by and means. I don’t think the tigers make it out of the oakland.co stadium or whatever the heck its called these days. A’s will take care of business at home and sweep the final three.

i love the lineup i think arod and swisher are both in a great position to do damage.
david wilson goes into the end zone untouched, the giants game is over and its all about the yankees from here on out…
i like the lineup. i would switch swisher and tex and russel and raul if i had a say but overall i’m really pleased

I love this lineup….
I like the lineup. One disappointment with the 25-man Playoff roster – I feel bad for Cody Eppley. I think he is more reliable (against righties) than Chamberlain. Joba has location issues and has permittrd many inherited runners to score in his limited appearances
I can’t post a link at the moment, but there’s a good article on RAB about how teams don’t try to steal or run on Balt’s OF arms.
Surpirsed were not seeing Eric Chavez get the start, given Raul’s clutch PH ability late in the game…

LathamJoe – it may have to do with Joba’s greater ability to get a strike out than Eppley. That, and Eppley is more of righty specialist.
Detroit has got to be the luckiest team in baseball
