Kuroda picked for Game 2 (apparently)

A Major League Baseball spokesperson just announced that Hiroki Kuroda will be in the interview room tonight because he’s been selected as the Yankees Game 2 starter. Joe Girardi has not announced the decision officially, but Kuroda in the interview room is a pretty sure indication that he’s the guy.

Kuroda will be pitching on three day’s rest. He’s made his most recent starts on extra rest. He will, however, be pitching at home, where he was much better than on the road this season.
