World Series Game 1: Tigers at Giants

Time for the World Series, and even though the Yankees are out of it, I’m sure a lot of you will be watching. Might as well have this space to talk about it.

These are the lineups for tonight’s Game 1. Assuming you can plug in Raul Ibanez (or Alex Rodriguez) at designated hitter, would you rather have either of these lineups — top to bottom — than the one the Yankees used in Game 162? Obviously these lineups were more effective in the postseason, but if you could redo the entire season from start to finish — not just the postseason, the whole season – would you feel more comfortable about the Yankees chances if they were given either of these groups?
