Hernandez reports that Kuroda has made no decisions about next season and “remains open to everything” on the night before he has to accept or reject the Yankee qualifying offer. It’s become clear this week that Kuroda has multiple teams interested, and he dismissed the idea that his choice is between the Yankees and a return to Japan.
“I never said anything like that,” Kuroda told Hernandez.
Meanwhile, absolutely no surprise that both Rafael Soriano and Nick Swisher are reportedly planning to decline their qualifying offers. Mark Feinsand reports that Swisher has five teams already showing serious interest.
