Yankees need to bring back Larry Bowa in a meaningful capacity.

“The Latest From One Thunder Road

We are so proud of the way the people of New Jersey (and really the entire region) have pulled together in the aftermath of Sandy.  While the ballpark was spared significant damage, we recognize that our fans, clients, partners and staff members have been greatly affected.  The Thunder will keep the long road to recovery in our hearts and our plans going forward, so expect fundraisers to support the rebuilding efforts in the near future.  Jersey Strong”

    Stay strong, NJ!

And RS, keep your filthy hands off Kuroda!

  8. Yankee Trader November 8th, 2012 at 6:27 pm

No way Kuroda pitches in Fenway where he pitched to a 6.75 ERA in 2 starts. He wants a chance at a WS in his final major league year.

    Have to go.

Wish I could do more than contribute money to the victims of the storm.

    So saddened.

YT, thoughts and prayers help too! I at least have a home waiting for me a few miles away. Just need them to turn back on the lights (heat). The snowfall last night although beautiful didn’t help. I am hoping we have power by Sunday. My heart aches for those who have no home to go to and the damage in the coastal areas is mind boggling. Glad to see the Thunder helping out. They do a lot of great charity work.

    Congrats to Jeet!

Thanks, Blake; I really do believe we’ll have power by this weekend. Just hoping the warm weather that’s a coming next week sticks around so the Jersey shore, Brooklyn, SI and LI have a chance to recover.

If it comes down to the two, much larger Japanese fan base in NY than Boston. Don’t let them down, Kuroda-San!

    YT, nope. Day 11.

Glad to hear Francesa continuing to fight the good fight for those living on Long Island and in New Jersey. His sports show has turned into a state of the union with callers ringing up about LIPA rather than the Giants, Jets, Mets or Yankees.

I could maybe understand what is going on out there if it were Namibia or Papua New Guinea but this is New York, the biggest city in the world. For people to be without power for 11 days (at least in areas that can be fixed) is a national disgrace.
