Joe Girardi just met with the media, and I’ll have highlights in a bit. But honestly, I wouldn’t expect much. This time of year, managers don’t have a lot to say, and Girardi certainly didn’t drop much news.

The Yankees don’t have an in-house third baseman. Their top four rotation spots are pretty much set. Their in-house catchers are good on defense. Pretty standard stuff, really.

Meanwhile, the Red Sox have made their second significant move of these Winter Meetings, agreeing to a three-year deal with Shane Victorino. [2]He didn’t come cheap. Victorino will make $39 million. [3]
