Third base market grows clearer

According to MLB.com, the Indians have agreed to a one-year contract with corner infielder Mark Reynolds. [2]The deal could set the stage for Kevin Youkilis to accept the Yankees one-year offer.
Youkilis is believed to be deciding between offers from the Yankees and Indians (though others could be in the mix), and the Reynolds deal could knock Cleveland out of the running. The Indians have Lonnie Chisenhall [3]to play third.
Reynolds could have been a match for the Yankees, but his third-base defense is pretty bad. Probably would have fit better as a designated hitter and backup at the infield corners.
