Adams behind schedule because of back injury

[2]Infield prospect David Adams, who missed most of two seasons with a persistent ankle injury, will be behind schedule when position players report to big league camp on Sunday.
The Daily News first reported the injury [3], and general manager Brian Cashman clarified on the phone that Adams will be in big league camp, but he won’t be cleared for full activity during early full-squad workouts.
“He’s rehabbing currently some back issues,” Cashman said. “So he’ll start behind in big league camp.”
