TIME/TV: 1:35 p.m., YES Network

WEATHER: Little bit warmer than in Tampa. Temperatures in the low 60s.

UMPIRES: I’m not there yet, so I actually don’t know.

OUT OF THE PEN: Pretty significant group of relievers for Boston today. The Red Sox are scheduled to use LHP Drake Britton, RHP Junichi Tazawa, RHP Joel Hanrahan, LHP Andrew Miller, RHP Andrew Bailey and RHP Koji Uehara.

WHAT TO WATCH: Adam Warren pitched well against the Red Sox last spring. Now he gets another turn in Fort Myers. … Melky Mesa made the decision to stay with the Yankees rather than play in the World Baseball Classic. He’s banking on getting a real look this spring, and today’s another chance to make an impression. … If the Yankees are going to carry a left-handed reserve infielder — a new Eric Chavez — it’s likely to be either Dan Johnson or Corban Joseph, each of whom is playing today.

LIGHT ON THE UPDATES TODAY: There’s been so much to write here in Tampa that I honestly haven’t left for Fort Myers (the Tampa press box is still full despite no game today). Updates are probably going to be pretty light at best.

UPDATE, 1:18 p.m.: Turns out, it’s a 1:35 first pitch, not 1:05. It’s been a long day.

UPDATE, 2:03 p.m.: Solo homer by Mike Napoli has the Red Sox in front 1-0.

UPDATE, 2:44 p.m.: Bad throw by Gardner on that ball off the second base bag and into left field. Gardner might have gotten the out at second base, but his throw was way off line.

UPDATE, 2:48 p.m.: Another pretty impressive inning from Ramirez.
