The Yankees just sent the following email…

Earlier today, Yankees SS Derek Jeter was seen by Dr. Daniel Murphy. Precautionary X-rays were taken and a precautionary MRI was performed. The X-rays were negative and the MRI found mild inflammation of the ankle. Jeter is listed as day-to-day.
