First pitch scheduled for 8:30

The tarp is still on the field, but the Indians just announced that they’re planning to start this thing at 8:30. I’ll keep you posted if anything changes. For now, they’re going to going to try to play.

UPDATE, 8:30 p.m.: This is goofy. The lineups have been announced. The ceremonial first pitch was thrown in foul territory. The Indians have yet to announce that first pitch will not be at 8:30 — which is right now — yet the tarp is still on the field, neither team has come out of the clubhouse, and neither starting pitcher has gone to the bullpen to warm up.
